FROM FIRST CONVERSATION TO HANDOVER

A working relationship,
with a clear plan.

The scope, systems, and people involved shape the way we work together. We agree those details before an engagement begins.

  1. 01

    Define the assignment

Identify the clients, periods, software, source records, and preparation tasks. Confirm which work stays with your team.

  2. 02

    Document the handover standard

Agree templates, naming conventions, query tracking, review points, and delivery expectations before work begins.

  3. 03

    Work through review

Prepare the agreed outputs, flag open questions, and address feedback within the engagement scope. Discuss changes as assignments evolve.

CONNECTED WORK. CLEAR OWNERSHIP.

Everyone knows
their part.

HELPFUL TO HAVE IN MIND
  1. The types and number of client assignments to discuss
  2. Accounting platforms, templates, and review requirements
  3. Delivery periods, records available, and expected workload
  4. Approvers, query contacts, and any client-access restrictions

Please keep confidential financial or client records out of the enquiry form.

BEFORE WE BEGIN

Your questions,
answered.

Can we begin with a limited assignment?

We can discuss an initial assignment with a defined scope and review process before considering wider support. Timing and capacity are confirmed during scoping.

Who communicates with our clients?

Client communication responsibilities are agreed before work starts. Direct client contact by EMB is not assumed; your firm can remain the point of contact.

Who reviews and signs off the work?

Preparation, review, and approval responsibilities are set out in the engagement. Your firm retains any professional review and sign-off responsibilities allocated to it.

How is client information shared?

Before access is arranged, agree permissions, confidentiality requirements, approved sharing channels, and any relevant client or data-processing arrangements. Do not send client records through the initial enquiry form.

Can you use our existing templates and systems?

We can discuss working within your software and documentation requirements. Access, supported tasks, and any onboarding needed are confirmed before the assignment is accepted.
